Silly beings do silly things

I developed a stupid pattern after one of my former teachers failed me just when advice and support were most needed. As a result starting from then I preferred not to have instructors around my neck and wouldn't follow easily their advice. A silly thing by a silly being.

Now I have overcome that, but it wasn’t that simple - one thing is saying "ok, enough. Stop this crap!" while another totally different thing is actually switching. Mental pathways and neural networks needed to be altered, and this process in my brain took much longer than expected. But, then again, I am a silly being.

Pride and ego spinning around in my mind had to be put under control (nirodhah) for me to achieve that change and pull myself together again. So, eventually the very first lines of the Yoga Sutras did help this silly being.
